With the choice of an hour extra in bed or an extra hour out fishing I finished my night shift and got my gear ready to meet Mark the water was clear but a strong offshore wind made things very tricky, drifting the wreck was a nightmare but we managed a few fish between us today but tackle losses were high due to the fast drifts
After a few small fish I hooked and lost what felt like an enormous Cod after it sheared my light braid on the rocks below
But Mark had a really nice fish going 11.5lb a finely marked fish too
The wind at times was brutal so after 4hrs we headed back in which took a while today but nevertheless another great outing
I even secured dinner
